Aircraft Dispatcher Certification Course (Initial – 200 Hours)
The Aircraft Dispatcher Certification Course at Global Aviation Training Academy is a comprehensive, FAA-approved program designed to prepare students for a career in airline and corporate flight operations. This intensive 200-hour curriculum provides the knowledge, skills, and regulatory foundation required to become a certificated Aircraft Dispatcher under FAA standards.
Full time: The course is delivered over six weeks (Zoom 128 hours/Classroom 72 hours) of full-time attendance, with flexible scheduling options:
- Morning/Afternoon Session: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Afternoon/Evening Session: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Only for ZOOM session)
(Monday through Friday)
Part-Time ZOOM: The course is delivered via ZOOM for the first 128 hours (10 weeks) with flexible scheduling options:
· Morning session: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
· Afternoon session: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
· Evening session: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
(Monday through Friday)
The remaining 72 hours of class will be conducted at the designated classroom location for two weeks (Part-time schedule total 12 weeks).
Program Structure:
- 128 Hours – Remote Distance Learning (Live via Zoom):
Students attend instructor-led classes from the convenience of their home or office in a focused, distraction-free environment. This phase covers core academic subjects including meteorology, navigation, FAA regulations, aircraft systems, performance, and dispatch procedures. - 72 Hours – In-Person Classroom Training:

This phase emphasizes practical application, scenario-based training, flight planning, and real-world dispatch operations to prepare students for testing and employment.
Certification Path:
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive:
- A graduation certificate.
- A record of training meeting FAA requirements.
With a passing score on the FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Knowledge (written) Exam and completion of this course, students are eligible to apply for the FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Practical Exam, the final step toward earning the Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate.
