Global Aviation Training Academy {GATA) and the above listed student enter into an agreement under which the student will pay tuition and fees as Indicated below. GATA will instruct the student in the curriculum listed below.

12 MONTH ENROLLMENT: $225 Surcharge

$225.00. I want to enroll in the 12-month option so I can extend my attendance beyond my initiaJ enrollment to meet the 200 hour curriculum requirement. $425.00 if requested after the completion of initial enrollment. I understand that my extended attendance is conditional on that there must be an active session with a minimum number of students enrolled in an initial enrollment. Additionally, tuition is required to be fully satisfied. Extended attendance will expire 12-months from the first day of class of my initial enrollment. I understand the 12-month enrollment is not valid for prior experience students enrolled for reduced attendance and recurrent curriculum.

Reduced Attendance/Prior Experience

To be eligible for prior experience and approval for a reduced attendance (Category A, B, C, or D) course the applicant must provide an unexpired passing score on the FAA Aircraft Dispatch (ADX) written exam. In addition, the applicant must provide evidence of the prior experience (Airline ID, Pilot Certificate, Degree, and or license)

Student Conduct

Students agree to respect the classroom environment to allow for a cooperative learning relationship. The student will not distract the instructor or other students in the classroom. The student will agree to keep his/her workspace clean and organized. The student agrees not to record via audio or visual media of any of the curriculum. The student agrees not to cause harm to any other occupant in the classroom.

If the student does not comply with school policies for conduct, then the school reserves the right to reject the student from attendance and initiate a withdrawal from the selected curriculum (Refund policy will be applicable).

Student Attendance

Students are required to attend the minimum curriculum hours to be eligible for a course completion diploma and an endorsement to apply for the FAA Practical examination by a Designated Aircraft Dispatch Examiner (DADE).

The course ends at the conclusion of the 200 hour curriculum under the agreement of the initial enrollment for either Full-Time or Part-Time status. If continued attendance is requested then additional tuition fees apply.

If for reasons beyond the student’s control, one or two modules are missed, the classes can be made up later or via alternative methods. This may include but not be limited to guided self-study, assignments, or “one-on-one” instruction (additional fees may apply). Students missing more than two modules will be required to make up all missed modules beyond the first two.

Mandatory attendance is required at the designated classroom location for a minimum of 72 hours. The attendance is to conduct the Flight Planning and Review Modules of the Practical Dispatch segment of the curriculum.

Student Prerequisites

Students registering for the course must be at least twenty-one years of age or turn twenty-one prior to its end. In addition, students must be able to write, read and speak the English language. Individuals completing the course and passing the practical exam prior to the 23rd birthday will be issued a Letter of Aeronautical Competency in lieu of a temporary certificate by the local Flight Standard District Office.

Completion Requirements

You will be required to attend 200 hours of curriculum, a passing grade on the FAA ADX written examination, and a passing grade (70%) on the GATA final exam. The passing score will allow the receipt of the 90-day endorsement to apply for the FAA Practical examination.

FAA Aircraft Dispatch (ADX) Written Test Preparation

Student agrees to purchase the ASA ATP & Flight Engineer Test Preparation book with Prepware companion software. With the use of the Test Preparation book and Prepware companion software the student will conduct daily exercise and practice to ensure proficiency.

To accommodate the confidence of receiving a satisfactory grade, on the first attempt, the student will provide a screenshot of 2 practice tests from the Prepware software with a minimum grade of 85%.

Non-compliance may lead to an unsatisfactory score on the first attempt.

Additional Ground School

If the student requires additional “one-on-one” ground school, from an authorized GATA instructor, an hourly fee of $60.00 USD per hour may be applied.
